Do you have 1 years experience in an administration role?

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to be supported and trained by our award-winning team, to become a first-class level 4 paraplanner.

We will provide you with a structured training strategy, including a Level 4 Diploma Qualification, which will enable you to be fully qualified in just 2 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Focus on developing client relationships through excellent ongoing support
  • Provide excellent client communication at all times
  • Preparation of presentations and other documents for client meetings and reviews
  • Assisting with the preparation of advice letters and financial plans
  • Managing the ongoing industry and market updates to clients
  • Obtain illustrations, related documentation and forms to support suitability reports
  • Provide all types of research necessary
  • Be an efficient, friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries by telephone, email and in person
  • General office management duties such as call handling, booking of appointments, stationary orders, scanning/printing etc.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • 1 Years administration experience
  • You need to be organised, with an eye for detail
  • Excellent customer service: telephone and email communication and interpersonal skills are also required along with IT proficiency.

Do you have at least 3 full years’ of mortgage advice experience, with CeMap qualified or equivalent?

We are looking to add a Talented Mortgage Advisor to join our strong, dedicated team.

Your main tasks will be:

· Helping new and existing clients with mortgages and or protection to meet client needs with objectives set with you.

· Carry-out fact finds and provide recommendations with clients and assess suitability for existing provisions.

· Maintain excellent customer service and engagement standards.

· Work effectively on your own and within a team environment to maintain a positive approach to the business requirements.

Responsibilities

You will be provided with two mortgage books of clients, to support and continue to advise, we have hundreds mortgage clients, this role will be to support these clients, as well as grow our mortgage book with new clients.

· Liaise with clients via e-mail, telephone and letter to maximise business opportunities.

· Have a good understanding of the mortgage market, including products that fit the niche areas of lending, adverse credit, self-employed, buy to let etc.

· Must have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.

· Work to ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service and achievement of department and individual objectives.

· Provide support to team members when required in order to ensure consistent levels of customer service and best practice is maintained.

· Updating the case management system and ensuring its accuracy.

· Be aware of and follow compliance procedures and processes.

· Maintain relationships with clients, fellow work colleagues, managers and product providers and other professional bodies.

· Take all reasonable steps to determine the needs of external and internal customers and provide an accurate and prompt service to satisfy their needs

· The ability to take positive, effective and timely action whilst prioritising workloads.

· The ability to make consistent decisions after analysing the available information.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 full years’ of mortgage advice experience
  • CeMap qualified or equivalent
  • Incredibly organised, with an eye for detail
  • Exceptional customer service: telephone and email communication and interpersonal skills are also required along with IT proficiency.

After leaving school at 16 and becoming a chef, Sam longed for a client facing career, in 2010 he started working in customer service roles while completing his mortgage qualifications. Sam joined financial services in 2012, working for RBS, starting in Customer Services, later to a Mortgage Advisor with NatWest whilst completing his pension and investment qualifications. Once qualified Sam left the bank and joined a local IFA practice gaining experience in providing advice on Pensions and Investments. In 2016 Sam started Almond Financial and grew the team to where it is now. Sam achieved Chartered Status with the LIBF in 2022.

In his spare time, Sam enjoys going to the gym and holidays.
